"In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth... stand up and walk." (Acts 3:1-10)
The disciple Peter orders a lame man to stand up and walk. He carries on Jesus' work of healing. Often in the book of Acts, the verb “to save” is used for “to heal.” The spiritual and physical are two sides of the same coin. Soul and body are one. The lame man was healed so he could be faithful.
